Description:
In compliance with the national legislation (Government Decision 1593/2002 "National Plan for Preparedness, Co-operation and Response at Marine Pollution by Hydrocarbons"), the national structure to fight and prevent pollution at sea by accident or intentional wastes is articulated as follows:
  • Ministry of Environment and Water Administration carries into effect the national policy in the field of prevention and fighting afainst marine pollution

  • Civil protection structure, local administration, implied/interested institutions, NGOs etc. predisposes the structure and the necessary means in response to marine pollution.
