SYMPOSIUM SUBJECTS
- First three sections concern marine sciences domain
(oceanography, geomorphology and coastal engineering, anthropic impact
and marine environment protection, biodiversity, systemic ecology,
mariculture, integrated coastal zone management, etc.) concern
fundamental and applied research papers. Reviews regarding evolution of
the marine environment and its state of health future related research,
are recommended;
- Fourth section concerns promoting the ecological education
and public awareness regarding marine environment protection of
research institutes, universities and NGOs.
PREPARATORY ACTIONS
SCHEDULE
- Deadline for receiving registration
form, of the paper title and its abstract in English is 31.07.2007,
by e-mail or fax.
- The registration
form should contain the option for participation in scheduled
workshops.
- For requirements received after the deadline, organizers
will not take any responsibility for enclosure paper in the symposium
Abstract book.
PARTICIPATION
TERMS
- Registration with papers is not a condition to participate,
the symposium is based on open debate;
- More than 3 (three) papers, per each main author, are
discouraged;
- For external participants, from
Romania or abroad, the travel expenses will be on their own. The
organizers will assume only the hotel registration of participants,
taking into account confirmation of participation at above deadline.
GENERAL EXPLANATORY NOTE
- The official symposium languages are Romanian or English;
- The time allocated for papers, essays and debates is 10-15
minutes;
- For papers delivery, the organizers will provide spotlight
and Microsoft Power Point presentation devices;
- The title and the summary of the contribution /scientific
summary will be in Romanian and English, maximum one A4 page for each
variant, in Microsoft Word, with Times New Roman font, one row, next
setting: bottom, top - 2,5 cm; left, righ -2,5 cm; gutter - 0; heater,
footer - 1,25 cm.
Each paper, in Romanian
and English will consist of:
- the paper title (capitals, bold, 14 pt., center);
- the author/authors (first name, last name, bold, 12pt.,
align left);
- the authors affiliation (institution, place, country,
italic, 12pt.);
- summary text (maximum 200 words, 12 pt.);
- key words.
