Abstract
This paper includes the results and observations regarding the
saprophitic and pathogenic fungic populations in the polluted littoral
waters between Navodari and Vama Veche in 1975-1985. The data are
based on the mycological analysis of an amount of 2,000 of newly
collected sea water samples from 11 stations located perpendicularly
alongside the littoral at depths of 0/0 m, 0/5 m, 0/10 m, 0/20 m. We
have determined species belonging to Mycophyta phylum classes. We
have also shown the evolution of the distribution and quantitative
levels of sporogenesis by unit of water volume, the forms generating
fungous blooms and the part the predominant species play in the
microplankton at the Romanian Black Sea littoral.
