Abstract
This paper presents the spatial distribution of the fish population
during spring and the impact of the environment conditions, on the
basis of two cruises carried out in April of 1991 and 1992. The
environment conditions were similar for the two years considered
and favourable to fishing agglomerations. The catch structure by
species shows that sprat and Black Sea whiting are dominant in
catches as they are in the Romanian fishery as well. The distribution
of the fish shoals was similar, but the density per surface unit
was different.
