Abstract
Some cutaneous tumours have been found at the turbot - Scophthalmus
maeoticus (Pallas, 1831) caught in May 1991 in the area limitrophe
to Neptun resort on the Romanian littoral. That disease affected 20%
of the fish studied. Pathogenic bacteria belonging to genera
Aeromonas and Vibrio have been isolated from the tumour, liver and
intestine.
