DU LITTORAL ROUMAIN DE LA MER NOIRE EN 1991

Abstract
In April-May 1991, only small quatities of the sprat population were
in the investigated area (a total biomass of 12,290 tonnes), but at 
the beginning of summer (May-June) the sprat was concentrated in 
large quantities on the shelf (a total biomass of 82,061 tonnes). 
The shoals in the investigated area included mainly one year old 
specimens and those belonging to the new generation.
