Abstract
The paper refers to the main modifications of the benthic communities
structure from the Danube Mouths zone (0-20 m depths), based of the
research performed during 1986-1990 period. The macrobenthic species
list, their frequency, the dominance of the main species, quantita-
tive data on the meio- and macrobenthos are presented. The results
are compared with the 1960-1961 period situation.
