Abstract
An exhaustive bibliography for the period 1881 - 1986
consisting in 151 references concerning the macrophyto-
bentos off the Romanian Black Sea coast is being 
reviewed.
The following 18 main topics are dealt with: algology,
bibliography, biochemistry, endocrinology, environmental
parameters and pollution, flora, vegetation and phyto-
coenology, generalities, morphology, physiology, pro-
duction and productivity, radioactivity and radio-
chemistry, radioecology and radioprotection, reproduc-
tion, taxonomy.
Out of the total references, originating in 50 indigen-
ous and international periodical of occasional publica-
tions, the Romanian and Russian titles are translated
and transliterated (and translated), respectively, in
English.
