DES ALGUES MACROPHYTES AUX COTES LIBYENNES
DE LA MER MEDITERRANEE

Abstract
In 1975-1976, during the four expeditions performed in
the Mediterranean Lybyan waters, qualitative and 
quantitative bottom samples were collected. In the samples
74 species of macrophyta algae were identified, out of
them 39 Rhodophyta, 20 Phaeophyta and 15 Chlorophyta,
as well as a species of Angiospermae. The authors present
the spatial and seasonal distribution of the association
of identified species.
