DE LA POPULATION DU SPRAT DANS LES EAUX DEVANT
LE LITTORAL ROUMAIN DE LA MER NOIRE

Abstract
Zooplankton production and biomass evolution between
1980-1986 as well as its consume by Sprattus sprattus
population are presented. Individual ration and zoo-
plankton consume by fish population were assesed by
means of energetic conversion for metabolism and weight
increase (balance energy ecuation) data. Annual food
ration varried between 24.9 Kcal for the 1 year old
specimens and 68.6 Kcal for those of 4 years in age.
They were equivqlent with a 17.4 to 28.5 g zooplankton
for gram weight increase for 4 and respectively 1 year
old specimens. 16.8% from annual production of trophic
zooplankton or 32.5 from the copepods one are consumed 
by fish population.
