Abstract
The paper presents the results of the observations
regarding the species Illex illecebrosus argentinus 
(CASTELLANOS,1960) caught in the southwest Atlantic
from February to May 1985, including the analysis
of the frequency by length classes and weight, sex
ratio gonad maturation degree and lenght-weight
relationship.
