PHYTOPLANKTON DIVERSITY INDICED AS EUTROPHICATION
INDICATORS OF THE ROMANIAN INSHORE WATERS

Abstract
1,396 phytoplanktonic samples were analysed during
1979-1983 and 1985. Structure peculiarities of the
phytoplanktonic community as species number, dominance,
total density, index of diversity, evenness, in an
eutrophicated area are presented. The significance of
diversity index (H') and the way of using it for a
complete description of phytoplankton are discussed.
