Abstract
Following an introduction in which is described the
importance of buoys and buoys systems for the scien-
tific research of marine environment, a classifica-
tion is proposed of these based on several main
criteria. A draft of dealing with all calculations
in designing the marine support of the oceanographic
buoys represents the main part of the paper. Forces
actionating on the buoys, the dimensions of the
anchoring systems, oscillatory movings on the waves,
materials used for construction are presented.
