Abstract
The paper presents the quantitative modifications occuring
in the chemical structure of the Romanian nearshore waters
in the zone bounded by the 44 grade 10'N and 44 grade 40'N
latitudes under the effect of the prevailing northerly winds.
During the warm season the significant salinity decreases
produced by this type of circulation are favourable to the 
mass development of several planctonik species, leading to
unsual increase in the disolved oxygen and organic matter
content.
