Abstract
The experiments carried out in 1983 showed the possibi-
lity of optimising the artificial food consumption in
the process of growing the Mugil auratus. There were
3 variants of experiments and the "D" one was characte-
rized by a reduced food consum-1.58 kg food for 1 kg
meat increase. Such a reduced consum was possible by
fertilizing the soil with 5000 kg sheep manure accom-
plished by introducing a white plastic sheet 0.4 sqm
per 1 sqm of bottom surface. This method developed a
rich vegetal bioderma which were permanently consumed
by the fish.
