p. 217 - 226 CONTRIBUTIONS EN VUE D'OPTIMISER LA CONSOMMATION DE NOURRITURE ARTIFICIELLE CHEZ L'ESPECE Mugil auratus (RISSO, 1810) ELEVEE EN ETANGES V. Udrea Institut Roumain de Recherches Marines Constanta Abstract The experiments carried out in 1983 showed the possibi- lity of optimising the artificial food consumption in the process of growing the Mugil auratus. There were 3 variants of experiments and the "D" one was characte- rized by a reduced food consum-1.58 kg food for 1 kg meat increase. Such a reduced consum was possible by fertilizing the soil with 5000 kg sheep manure accom- plished by introducing a white plastic sheet 0.4 sqm per 1 sqm of bottom surface. This method developed a rich vegetal bioderma which were permanently consumed by the fish.
