Abstract
The paper analyses the results of the observations 
carried out on sea water currents in the area of Danube
months in 1977-1980, in the period of high river discharge 
(in spring) and low river discharge (in autumn).
Two typical situations of sea water circulation in the area 
are given, a southward and a northward one, as well as their 
resulting influence on sea water salinity regime.
