ACTIVITY OF ALPHA- AMYLASE IN SOME SPECIES OF MOLLUSCS
AND FISH

Abstract 
The work is presenting some new data concerning the activity
of -amylase in 3 species of molluscs (Rapana thomasiana,
Mytilus galloprovincialis and Mya arenaria)and 3 species of 
fish (Squalatus acanthias, Spratus sprattus sprattus
and Engraulis encrasicholus ponticus)in the Romanian coastal
waters of the Black Sea, in a cephalopod (Illex illecebrosus) 
and 5 species of fish (Etrumeus sardina, Trachurus trachurus
trachurus, Scomber japonicus colias, Merluccius sp.and Balistes
capriscus captured in different areas of the World Ocean.
