Natalia Rosoiu 1) et Steliana Stoica 2) 1) Institute Roumain de Recherches Marines Constanta 2) Institut de Recherches Chimico-Pharmaceutiques Bucuresti Abstract The paper presents results of amylase extraction from hepatopancreas and whole soft tissue of Mya arenaria L., as well as biochemical characterization of the extract. Experimental data attest remarcable amylase activity at pH 6.9-7.15 and 33 degree temperature.
