Abstract
This paper presents the main characteristics in the 49/32 m trawl
construction and greement fitted for Octopus fishing in the north-
west African coast waters, with over 2000 GRT vessels. The gear has
attempted in 1975 Mauritanian waters, in industrial fishing.
