Abstract
The paper gives the results of an experimental carried out during 
1976 in the west side of the Black Sea, in order to determinate the
superficial currents. During June, July and August at 44 degree 20'N
latitude and 70 Mm distance from the Romanian shore 6.000 floating
bottles were launched, from which 186 were found. Taking into account
the arrival places, and the period of time until they reached shore,
marines current trajectory and speed have been deduced.
