Abstract
The paper presents the horse mackerel population characteristics 
fished on Roumanian sea shore, as a result of continuous sampling
carried out on annual catch. Compared with results obtained on 
Bulgarian sea shore, the authors are demonstrating the unity and
homogenity  of the horse mackerel population from the west side of
the Black Sea.
