Abstract
The paper presents the results of the catches analysis of the
roumanian trawlers that have fished in NW Atlantic, in 1973. Some
species are of the particular importance from which cod and mackerel
dominate. It points out the high value of the yield of Statistical
Area 6. At the same time some considerations are done concerning 
both the state of the main species stocks on the basis of catches
structure and proportions between different parts of the bodies.
