p. 57 - 94 CONTRIBUTIONS A LA CONNAISSANCE DE LA DYNAMIQUE DES POPULATIONS ET A LA PRODUCTION DE COPEPODES DANS LES EAUX ROUMAINES DE LA MER NOIRE Florica I. Porumb Institut Roumain de Recherches Marines Constanta Abstract In the paper structure and dynamics of populations of the major six copepodes (Centropages ponticus, Arcatia clausi, Pseudocanalus elongatus, Paracalanus parvus, Oithona nana and Oithona similis) as well as the seasonal and annual production and the P/B coefficients are presented on the basis of the zooplancton samples collected in 1970 and 1971 in the Romanian waters of the Black Sea, from above the continental platform. The gross annual production of copepodes represented 0,8 g/m3 of wet substance. The highest production was scored for Acartia clausi (more than 61%), followed by Pseudocalanus elongatus, (15,7%)and Oithona nana (10,8%). Paracalanus parvus and Oithona similis scored the lowest annual productions (2,6 and 1,6% respectively).
